Welcome to the Rural/Metro Ambulance Mid-South Training Center! We are located at the Rural/Metro Ambulance office in Collierville, TN. We offer courses from the American Heart Association, National Association of EMTs, and the National Safety Council. We also offer courses that are not affiliated with any national organization as well as courses that we have created locally. Our training center is operated by the Training Coordinator and has approximately 50 instructors.

Each year, our “CPR in Schools” program trains and certifies every high school freshman in the Shelby County Tennessee school system in Heartsaver CPR with AED. Over 24,000 students have successfully completed this program since we began in 2004! We also offer CPR, AED, and First Aid training to the community as well as healthcare facilities and businesses. CECBEMS Accredited

In November 2010, our training center was granted organizational accreditation from the Continuing Education Coordinating Board for Emergency Medical Services (CECBEMS). This accreditation allows us to approve courses locally and award Continuing Education Hours (CEHs) that are accepted by the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT) and most state EMS offices.
