In his role as the Division General Manager, Mr. Blach ensures the overall operational and financial performance of Rural/Metro's Florida operation. Prior to joining Rural/Metro, Mr. Blach served for 10 years as Director of Operations for American Medical Response Northeast. In this role, he was responsible for all financial and operational oversight for Southeastern Massachusetts and the State of Rhode Island. The operation serviced more than nine primary 911 contracts, over 10 major hospitals and 100 skilled nursing facilities with 450 employees and 100 ambulances. He is currently appointed to the Orange County EMS Advisory Board and the Valencia Community College EMS Advisory Board. He also sits on the Orange County EMS Operations, Communications, Medical Control and Quality Council Committees. Mr. Blach is a member of the Orlando Economic Development Commission and serves as Co-Chair of the Central Florida After School All Star Program. He completed the Paramedic Program with Northeastern University in 1989. He has received Official Citations from the Massachusetts Senate and House of Representatives for contributions to the EMS field.

As Market General Manager for Rural/Metro’s Sumter County EMS operations, Ms. Hill manages all administrative and operational duties, including contractual compliance, operational performance and public relations. Since joining Rural/Metro in 2000, she has moved through the ranks of the organization, serving as Paramedic and Field Training Officer, Crew Leader, Field Supervisor and Operations Manager for the Company’s North Fulton County, Georgia, operation. Prior to her relocation to Florida, Ms. Hill was accountable for the day-to-day operations of a large and growing 911 system with more than 150 employees and led the implementation of the Company’s DeKalb County, Georgia, 911 operations. Ms. Hill is a member of the Georgia Association of EMTs, the National Association of EMTs, and was named Rural/Metro Ambulance Employee of the Year in 2001, Georgia EMT of the Year Nominee in 2002 and Rural/Metro Supervisor of the Year in 2003. She holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Public Safety Administration from Grand Canyon University.

In his role as Medical Director, Dr. Geeslin supervises all aspects of the medical care provided within Rural/Metro's Central Florida organization. He is also currently the Medical Director for Sumter County and The Villages Public Safety. Prior to joining Rural/Metro, Dr. Geeslin was the Medical Director for Lake/Sumter EMS and Florida Hospital EMS. Dr. Geeslin is a site reviewer for the Committee for the Accreditation of Ambulances Services (CAAS). He is also a member of the Orange County Medical Control Committee as well as the past chair. A fellow member of the American Board of Emergency Medicine, Dr. Geeslin received his Bachelors and Medical degrees from the University of Florida. He has been licensed since 1973 to practice medicine in the State of Florida.

Mary Mulvie is responsible for Rural/Metro's human resource functions in Florida, ensuring the recruitment and retention of the area's best talent. She brings more than 17 years of human resources experience to managing Rural/Metro's 200 local employees. Ms. Mulvie prides herself on being a facilitator between employees and managers, encouraging strong communication and mutual respect among all parties while ensuring the organization's best practices are upheld. Mary is an active member of the Central Florida Human Resources Association and the Society for Human Resource Management. She obtained a Bachelor of Science degree from Barry University and graduated from the University of Central Florida Society of Human Resource Management Certification Program in 2002.

In his role as the Fleet Manager, Angel Perez is responsible for maintaining more than 40 ambulances and support vehicles operating in the Central Florida area. He oversees Rural/Metro's preventative maintenance program, visual safety inspections and vehicle recordkeeping. Before joining Rural/Metro, Mr. Perez worked in the automotive repair and maintenance field for more than nine years. He is certified in Automotive Service Excellence, Detroit Diesel Engines, Wheeled Coach, Ricon Wheelchair Lift and Ford Power Stoke Engine Performance.

In her role as the Business Development Representative, Yaima Acosta is responsible for the strategic business development planning and community outreach programs for Rural/Metro's operations in Central Florida. Prior to serving as the Business Development Representative for Rural/Metro, Ms. Acosta was the Business Administrator for a medical marketing company in Ocala, Florida. She brings more than 10 years of experience in marketing, sales and management. Ms. Acosta currently sits on the planning committee for the Dick Batchelor Children's Run and is an active member of the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Metro Orlando, Seminole County, Kissimmee and Osceola Chamber and Sumter County. She earned a Master's in Public Administration and holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Barry University.

As Communications Supervisor, Mel Lopez strives to make sure that every call for help is processed in a timely and appropriate manner. He is responsible for maintaining the integrity of the Communications Department's equipment, personnel and response processes, ensuring that all quality and compliance goals are met. Mel also serves as the logistical planner for Emergency Preparedness and collaborates with other agencies for disaster support. Mr. Lopez joined Rural/Metro in 2001. A member of the EMS Office of the Medical Director EMD Communications Committee, Mr. Lopez holds an Advanced Emergency Medical Dispatch and Quality certificate from the National Academies of Emergency Dispatch. He also has an AA degree from Valencia Community College and is currently completing his Bachelor's degree from UCF in Public Administration, with a minor in Emergency Management.
