CPR Classes

Four minutes… that’s all it takes for your brain to die after you stop breathing. Literally every second counts until someone starts performing CPR.

Rural/Metro Ambulance is committed to providing life-saving information to our citizens. That’s why we are proud to offer free CPR classes to members of the community. Rural/Metro Ambulance also provides a free infant safety class through a three-year partnership with a local hospital system. Classes include infant CPR and choking relief, car seat safety, first-aid, and home safety.  More than 1,000 people have participated in our community CPR and infant safety classes, and we encourage more Shelby County citizens to sign up for these classes in the future.
