Safe Haven Hotline

Pregnant and don’t know what to do? Rural/Metro’s Safe Haven Hotline can help you. The Helpline is designed to offer confidential assistance to young women in crisis. 

The toll free number is operated 24 hours a day and 7 days a week by Rural/Metro Ambulance Service in Memphis/Shelby County. You can reach someone anytime at 877-768-3473.

Dispatchers can help answer any questions and provide information, including places that you can safely surrender your baby and be protected. Rural/Metro Ambulance will also assist in dispatching a non-emergency ambulance to take you and your baby to a hospital to ensure a safe transport.
